Grandpa had a carpentry running in the house next door of granny's house. That house is today two buildings in the small town that swallowed granny and grandpa. Grandpa was kind to his employees and used to buy lots of olive oil to divide among them at New Year?s Eve. Granny keep the oil away from light in typical storage, and when we had stomach aches she used to warm a little bit of it and massage our stomachs while she was telling a story. I remember climbing to the cherry tree and eating a lot of them just to have aches and win a story at night. After all there was always enough olive oil for everyone in the business...
